This book is intended as a manual in study of course “Fundamentals of Cryptography” for students following academic direction 10.03.01, 10.04.01, 11.03.02, 11.04.02, 43.03.01. It contains 7 lectures which include both symmetric cryptography (block and stream ciphers) and asymmetric cryptography (RSA, Diffie-Hellman, El-Gamal, MacEllis). Some information regarding a design of cryptosystem based on elliptic curve technique is also given. Manual contains a consideration of digital signatures based on public-key cryptosystem and keyless hashfunction. Some cryptographic protocols are also presented.
