The textbook presents in a concise and accessible form up-to-date information about the structure of the central nervous system, pathways and sensory organs. Latin and Russian anatomical terminology are given in accordance with the International Anatomical Nomenclature adopted by the Federal Committee on Anatomical Terminology (FCAT, 1998). The textbook includes reference terms necessary for the study of relevant anatomical formations, as well as test tasks and situational tasks that will help students in mastering a large amount of actual material in the study of the organs of the central nervous system, conducting pathways, analyzers of vision, hearing, smell, etc. The manual pays attention to modern methods of visualization of the spinal cord and brain, organs of vision and hearing. This edition is provided with a large number of diagrams and drawings taken from open sources. The manual has been developed in accordance with the requirements of federal state educational standards and is intended for students of the main professional educational programs of higher education at the specialist level in the specialty 31.05.01 General medicine, 31.05.02 Pediatrics.
