The educational & methodical manual is intended for bachelors of the training direction 02.03.02 «Fundamental informatics & informational technologies» (general profile) & is necessary for successful mastering the subject «Mathematical modelling in natural sciences». The given manual first tackles the mathematical model, describing vibrations of a passenger car, & then there is considered the mathematical model of vibration dampener with friction with two degrees of freedom, analyzed on a computer. The system of analytical calculations (САВ) Maple is presented. The results of calculations in determining optimal parameters of extinguishing vibrations, guaranteeing the low level of vibrations of the main system are given.
